Composite Indicator that measures the countries’ Telecommunication infrastructure readiness to adopt the opportunities offered by Information and Communication Technology as to enhance their competitiveness. The Index consists of 5 sub-indicators:

1. Active Mobile Broadband subscriptions/ 100 population
2. Fixed broadband internet subscriptions/ 100 population
3. Fixed telephone lines
4. Internet users
5. Mobile telephone subscriptions
